Two terrorists were killed and five including two FC men were injured when a security check post was attacked here on Tuesday evening. Security sources said that two terrorists stormed a security check post in Baleli area in the outskirts of Quetta. In firing and bomb attack of the terrorists, five including two FC men and three civilians were injured.

In retaliatory firing of the security force both terrorists were killed on the spot. Police officials said firing was heard in the area following the explosion and a cordon was established as security forces initiated a search operation. Bomb Disposal Squad said that eight to ten kilograms of explosives was used in the attack. The injured were shifted Combine Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta for medical treatment.
